How it Works

Game-Play uses a combination of local and and API based OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies to intelligently detect highlights. Game-Play also uses the popular terminal based media manipulation technology ffmpeg to create highlight montages from those clips in real-time.

Game-Play is currently optimized to work with PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Using on -screen prompts like "YOU KNOCKED OUT" to determine the presence of a highlight. After a highlight is triggered Game-Play remotely triggers OBS Studios replay buffer.
